Much of our society and development is based upon the exploitation of non-human animals and the natural environment to serve human needs.
This hub intends to provide and share resources for Hong Kong students to cultivate in them sustainable relationships with non-human animals.
By investigating and understanding the different relationships that we have with non-human animals, we have the opportunity to learn more about ourselves as humans and most importantly how to become better people to serve our world today.
In this hub, educators, parents and students can find educational resources on how to be in relationship with non-human animals.
A series of teaching plans and materials have been created for classroom use while a resource page on related content has been compiled for further learning both inside and outside of the classroom and bringing our learning into the greater society.
Remark:
The word animal refers to non-human animal throughout this website and in the provided materials without further stated.
